It's not that difficult deciphering the Yahoo finance API, but I have a spreadsheet at http://optimizeyourportfolio.blogspot.com/2011/05/importing-historical-stock-prices-from.html that already has the VBA necessary. Simply type in a ticker symbol, enter in two dates, and Excel will retrieve the data automatically. Project managers do not have a great handle on social media (generally speaking!), and so little chuncks at a time which deliver benefits at each stage is appropriate - i.e. implement social media like any other project! There is also organisational politics to counter, i.e. 'we don't do it that way here', and this needs to be handled well, again small steps is essential. My new book, Social Media for Project Managers, talks about the different types and how they can be used on projects, and I completely agree that a wiki has the lowest barrier to entry for most teams.
